Between 2009 and 2015, we managed giving for seven American families and organized events for President Obama in three of our clients' homes. Since 2021, under Scout Lunar, we have placed more than eighteen million dollars of Democratic capital with discipline — thirty-eight million across the full arc of the practice, dating to 2004. The names are private. The work is not.
A family came to us after a cycle of generous giving that had been spread across many races, without a unifying plan. They wanted their capital to reflect their values more plainly — and to do more of what they had hoped for. We rebuilt the portfolio around contested House seats and structural investments.
